Consumer Marketing Intern

By the end of the internship you will:

  • Have a solid understanding of the tire industry and the competitive landscape that Goodyear competes within

  • Lead assessment of competitive activity in the marketplace to guide strategic planning

  • Learn to bring to life Goodyear’s brand voice & positioning, acting as a consumer ambassador for the brand

  • Help create on-brand content within the core initiatives to help Goodyear reach identified target consumers

  • Develop and lead analysis of monthly business scorecard for the Marketing team; partner with stakeholders on critical KPIs; present scorecard and insights/recommendations to marketing team

  • Know how to use marketing research to assess consumer needs

  • Confidently present recommendations in team settings

Required Education and Experience

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing or related business field

  • Minimum of Junior undergraduate standing

  • Successful candidates should have a minimum of 3.0 GPA  

Desired Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to multi-task and work independently on multiple projects while meeting deadlines

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Ability to thrive in a team environment
